Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our company. Protecting your data is of the utmost importance to us. The following information on data protection is intended to inform you about the purposes for which and the extent to which we collect and process your personal data when you use our website and how we protect your privacy when you provide us with your data.
responsibility
Möhlenhoff GmbH (Museumstr. 54a, 38229 Salzgitter, Telephone: 0 53 41 / 8475-0, Fax: 0 53 41 / 8475-999, E-Mail: kontakt@moehlenhoff.de) is the operator of this website and, as the responsible party within the meaning of Art. 4 (7) of the GDPR for compliance with the applicable data protection provisions.
We store and process our users’ personal data in compliance with the relevant regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Act on the Regulation of Data Protection and the Protection of Privacy in Telecommunications and Telemedia (TTDSG) in their current versions. All personal data is collected only for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and is not kept longer than necessary.
Personal data
Personal data is individual information about personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person (e.g. name, date of birth and contact details).
Other data collection
We collect, store and process your personal data (e.g. first name, surname, address, email address, telephone number, fax number) if a business relationship exists or is to be established, e.g. in the context of a subscription or an order, as well as for the purpose of defining and amending the business relationship. In addition, we use your personal data that you have provided to us for registration on our website and have consented to the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, we collect, store and process your personal data if you contact us via a contact form or by sending us an e-mail or by telephone or fax, insofar as this is necessary for the processing of your enquiries and correspondence. The personal data collected by us will be deleted immediately as soon as it is no longer needed for this purpose, unless there are legal retention periods.
contact form
Should you use our contact form to send us an enquiry, the information and the contact details you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and for any follow-up questions. The data will not be passed on without your consent.
The legal basis for the data processing of the data provided in the contact form is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DS-GVO), which you have given by ticking the box in the contact form. You can revoke this consent at any time without stating reasons by writing to the above address or by e-mail. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out up to the point of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
We will store the data provided in the contact form until you request its deletion, until the input of the cancellation or after the purpose of the data storage (e.g. after a completed processing of the request) has ceased to apply. The statutory provisions, in particular the retention periods, remain unaffected by this.
data disclosure
We use your personal data within Möhlenhoff GmbH and our affiliated companies. These companies, as well as our external service providers who carry out data processing on our behalf, are contractually obliged to treat personal data in accordance with the applicable regulations within the meaning of Art. 28 DS-GVO. Where these companies come into contact with your personal data, we have taken legal, technical and organisational measures and carry out regular checks to ensure that they comply with data protection laws.
Should you find links from other controllers on our website (e.g. Google Maps and to our social media sites on Linkedin, Xing and Instagram) and click on the link, you will be using the website directly with the respective controller, so that our data protection provisions do not apply to this website.
We do not generally transfer your personal data to a third country or an international organisation outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Should we make such a transfer in individual cases, this will only be to a third country for which an adequacy decision has been made by the European Commission or for which the adequate level of data protection has been ensured by appropriate or suitable guarantees (e.g. binding corporate rules or EU standard contractual clauses).
We reserve the right to disclose your personal data to authorised recipients if we are legally or judicially obliged to do so. Your personal data will not be passed on to other third parties.
Inclusion of external content on our website
External content is integrated into our website using iFrames. The external content is the presentation of our applicant portal. The contents of our applicant portal are integrated and technically provided by a software service provider on our behalf. The security and protection of your personal data is always guaranteed by means of suitable security measures and the conclusion of a contract for order processing with our service provider in accordance with Art. 28 DSGVO.
Further information on data protection regarding the use of our applicant portal can be found in the corresponding data protection declaration and the data protection information.
cookies
Various information is stored in so-called cookies on our websites, which serve to make the application more user-friendly and to make the internet service as a whole more effective. Furthermore, the data stored in a cookie eliminates the need to repeatedly fill out forms. The cookies we use are temporary and are regularly deleted.
You can manage the acceptance of cookies from our websites independently in your browser and block them if necessary. You can also delete cookies that have already been set at any time. You can also find out how to disable cookies in the settings of your chosen browser. If you do not accept cookies, this may in individual cases lead to restrictions in the use of our websites. Please note that if you delete your cookies, you may also have to reactivate any opt-out cookies that have been set.
We recommend that you regularly delete cookies and browser history manually.
We distinguish between technically necessary cookies and static and marketing cookies. Technically necessary are the cookies that make the use of the site technically possible. Technically unnecessary cookies are all those cookies that are used for marketing and statistical purposes. Möhlenhoff GmbH uses Matomo for statistical purposes.
Consent to data processing using cookies is voluntary and can be withdrawn or adjusted at any time using the link below. Your consent applies to the following domains: www.alphasmartware.de
Analysis of the websites
Various technical programmes are used to optimise the content and offers on our websites and to collect statistical evaluations. These programmes also record data on the behaviour of the website user in anonymised form. For this purpose, data on click behaviour, visit duration, system settings and origin of the user are collected by using analysis software cookies in the form of text files. Cookies are stored on your computer for these evaluations. This collected data may be stored on the servers of the analysis tool operators. The data collected is not used to personally identify the user and is not merged with other personal data of the user.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. In the following section, we present the analysis tools we use in detail.
The following analysis tools are used on our websites for this purpose:
Matomo
If you have given us your consent in the context of the cookie notice, we use Matomo, an open-source software for statistical evaluation of visitor access, on our homepage. Matomo uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of your use of the website. The following data, among other things, may be collected: List of search terms, time of visit, location country/city/continent or the default language of the end device (browser), for example.
The information generated by cookies about your use of this website is stored on our own server in Germany for the purpose of website optimisation. Your IP address will be anonymised immediately during this process (AnonymizeIP), so that you as a user remain anonymous to us. The information generated by cookies about your use of these websites will not be disclosed to third parties. The legal basis for this is your consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) (1) (a) of the GDPR and Section 25 (1) of the German Teleservices Data Protection Act (TTDSG), which you may have declared in the cookie notice.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in the cookie notice or your browser software. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of these web pages to their full extent.
You can permanently object to tracking by Matomo by deactivating it by clicking on the cookie box. This results in an opt-out cookie being stored in your browser. This ensures that Matomo no longer collects any tracking data. Please note that if you delete the opt-out cookie, you may need to re-deactivate tracking.
captcha
A Captcha query may be carried out on our website. For this purpose, a locally stored extension is used without the involvement of a third-party provider. No personal data is stored in the CAPTCHA query.
data security

These measures fulfil the stringent statutory requirements of national regulations and are always adapted to the current state of the art.
