# FAC (factory reset)

**NOTE**
A factory reset restores the original configuration of the device. All saved settings will be deleted.

To perform a factory reset, proceed as follows:

1.
Navigate to the FAC menu item by

Confirm selection by

3.
To confirm, press and hold the following button for 5 seconds

The display briefly shows **RES**. The device is reset to factory settings and restarts.
