# BOS (Boost)

The boost function offers the possibility of overriding the "automatic" mode for a period of between 5 and 120 minutes and heating (not cooling) the room during this period.

**Default: 30 Min.**

The set time is counted down on the display.

**ATTENTION**
The boost function is not interrupted even when the stored target temperature is reached. This only occurs when the countdown expires or when manually terminated in the menu **BOS**.

**NOTE**
If the thermostat is in cooling mode (due to an automatic CO signal or a manual switchover in the **WMO**), menu item), the **BOS** menu item is not shown on the display and is not available for parameterization.
