Frequencies

Why does cSP-L use the 868.3 Mhz and 869.525 Mhz frequencies?

The advantage of these two frequencies is that they have a greater range than WiFi for example. However, the bandwidth is also lower. Therefore, these frequencies are much more suitable for smart home applications because transmitting images isn’t necessary, but users do want to ensure wireless coverage in the whole building.

If several devices are to use the frequency at the same time, there’s a duty cycle on the two frequencies. This frequency band also rules out any interference from frequently used wireless applications such as WiFi, Bluetooth, video streaming or others at 2.4 GHz.
