In accordance with Section 60c(3) of the German Building Energy Act (GEG), alternative, equivalent methods \u2013 such as temperature-based methods \u2013 have been permitted since 1 October 2024 <strong>in accordance with Procedure B of the ZVSHK-VdZ<\/strong> (German Association of Building Technology) \u2013 VDMA technical regulation. The Alpha direct Balance Switch base station falls into the category of thermal balancing (<strong>temperature-based methods<\/strong>).  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Alpha direct Balance Switch is certified by <strong>certified by T\u00dcV Rheinland 2026<\/strong> for automated hydraulic balancing and can be used to assist in carrying out hydraulic balancing in accordance with Method B.<br\/>It should be noted in day-to-day practice that the Alpha direct Balance Switch does not fully replace the hydraulic balancing procedure in accordance with Method B, nor does it exempt users from complying with the fundamental requirements for hydraulic balancing in accordance with Method B. The base station cannot affect sections of the pipework network located upstream of the heating manifold.
