In the system described, there are also switching components in the base station. These allow the thermostat signals to be inverted and transmitted to the valve actuators. This feature enables the base station to be used in cooling applications as well.

Can the base station cool with any thermostats? #

The base station performs the cooling function. Standard thermostats available on the market can be used for both applications (heating and cooling).
